Download Free Coloring Pages of your favorite characters now from the Caterpillar-Butterfly website and submit the best coloring to our contest to win BIG!
Coloring is an activity that may seem simple to many parents, but it plays a crucial role in developing good motor and coordination skills during a child’s early years. Coloring is a great engaging activity for children which can help avoid excessive screen time, help them concentrate better on tasks and boost their sense of creativity and productivity whenever they finish a page.
Parents can pick out a few coloring pages with their child as a fun activity each week and allow them to have complete freedom to explore different colors. There will be a few purple frogs and green teeth when they first start but make sure to give your children plenty of room to be creative while also making sure they can associate the correct colours with various objects.
Caterpillar-Butterfly has published a collection of high-quality free coloring pages on the website which can be downloaded from here for our Zing of Color Contest. We also have some coloring pages designed from the story series The Orange and Ginger Soapy Shampoo: A Bubble’s Journey. Children can choose coloring pages for their favorite characters from the story here.
If your colored page from the Caterpillar-Butterfly website turns out to look really good, you can submit your colored page to us as an entry to our coloring contest, A Zing of Color, and have a chance to win $500 on winning first prize!
‘A Zing of Color’ is a coloring contest for all ages which allows you to express yourself fully by choosing your unique creative medium, be it watercolours, crayons, or acrylic paints. Here’s a note from Cate, who will also be taking part in ‘A Zing of Color’ contest along with her brother Kenneth:
I hope everybody is doing well and keeping themselves safe these days. When I heard about the ‘ Zing of Color’ contest, I wanted to color and send in my entry as soon as possible!
But Mama advised that I should just host the contest and focus on coloring my picture carefully without leaving any empty spaces and make sure I do the best and greatest job ever. I did just that and my picture turned out to be so vibrant!
My brother Kenneth is a wiz at coloring pages because he’s older than me. He also did a pretty good job and his page looks beautiful!
What coloring page are you going to choose for the contest? Let me know in the comments below.
